It is not clear just how many annuals called "The Acorn" there were. The 1930 annual says it is the second. There was a 1927 annual, which I have not seen. If it was also called "The Acorn," then the statement is in error.

It is also unclear just now whether there was a continuous series of annuals throughout the Depression years. An annual did exist for the class of 1927.

Many photographs were available for use in every annual. It would be of great interest now to have all of those photographs available, but there's good reason to believe that most were simply discarded.
