Mildred McGahan was one of several McGahan's to attend Godwin, and appeared to have a bright future at Godwin had the family not moved to Belding to take up farming. Forrest Keyes, first row, right side, long lived on 36th, just east of the school, and owned Keyes refridgeration. His sons still run the business. Floyd Horton lived off Eastern Avenue after graduation, and had several children that attended Godwin.
