One senses that there were literally dozens of student clubs in 1941. A check of the seniors grauation photographs and descriptions suggests that just about every activity at Godwin had a club behind it, and a faculty advisor. Despite vastly greater per student annual costs to run schools today, even in inflation corrected terms, there never seems to be enough money to support the diversity of activities that schools managed even during the Great Depression.
