Richard Lester long lived on 32nd Street. His son Ben was a member of the Godwin class of 1963. Carroll Munshaw later returned to Godwin as a teacher, something that was quite common in the days of a more family oriented Godwin school system. Charles and Gladys Saur had a good eye for talent, and would tells students that after they graduated from college there was a job waiting for them at Godwin. This approach would be impossible today. Merle Mullikin was the class valedictorian.
