An amusing look at the annual creation process. While large numbers of photographs were no doubt taken, the disposition of the negatives is unclear. Apparently they were sometimes held by the studio, and prints of those negatives of interest were ordered. Since in some cases not even the studios exist any longer, it seems unlikely that any negatives exist either, and the only surviving photographs are those in the annuals, and perhaps some ordered by the students. Unfortunately, the quality of the photographs in the annuals is very uneven. Those annuals using glossy paper retain better quality photographs than those using soft paper, although in no case are they anywhere near the quality of the orignals.

Still, it's all there is now for the most part.
