Starting with Franklin J. Cook, one sees "veteran" by the names of
many of the male graduates in the class of 1947. Whether this means they
took time off from school, and would have otherwise graduated earlier, is
not clear.
World War II was a war unlike any before or since in terms of size and scope, and Godwin students rose to the challenge. |
