Dismissed as mere "house wives" in later decades by generations believing that careers, yet more money, and more things, would somehow displace the basics of human nature, in 1948 yet women learned at school how to run an economic and effective household. It is not clear yet that this approach has been effecitvely replaced, in a world that hears phrases like "quality time" to describe 10 or 15 minutes devoted to one's children each day. |
