The original photograph mentions that this is a 7th grade group. There was a radio club or class for many years. The object in the photograph doesn't particularly look like a radio, but does look electrical. Perhaps a breaker box. The table looks to be something from a science class room. The teacher is J.B.Ward.
Photograph provided by Lewis Lull, class of 1940.
The same teacher as above. The saddle shoes smack of the 1940s or early 1950s. The object on the ground the teacher is pointing to appears to be something like a coffee pot. Why outside? For some the object seems less interesting than the camera. Does anyone know what this event was about, or recognize anyone? J.B.Ward is the person pointing to the object.

It's not known what the occasion of the photograph below was. Nor have all of the people even been identified. If anyone knows anything more about the photograph, please contact me.
Material provided by Lee (Tanner) Collins, class of 1941.
Kim (Shepard) Brown, class of 1970, relates that the person in the front row, second from the right, is Gertrude Alaria, class of 1938. Yet another Godwin student to later become a teacher at Godwin, Mrs. Rhodes taught English at Godwin for several decades. There were at least two generations of Rhodes students at Godwin. The person in the center of the back row might well be teacher Margaret Brumbaugh. It's possible this is a debate group.
