Ms Puerzer has been researching octagon Houses since 1978. She aided Carl F. Schmidt with his 2nd book More About Octagons , photographing many midwest houses for the project. She has written several historic articles and continues to be interested in historic architecture. She lives in a 1908 house in the midwest.

Her work on the octagon Inventory consists of researching the various octagon houses built in the US.
